The Spring 2019 Hydrant Flushing program will begin on Monday April 1, 2019. Flushing will take place between the hours of 10 PM and 6 AM Monday through Friday. The program is expected to conclude on Friday April 19, 2019.
Flushing removes accumulated sediment from the water mains. During this process, some residents may experience discolored water. Please check for discolored water prior to using the dishwasher or washing machine during this time by running the cold water at the nearest faucet for several minutes. If discolored, run the cold water until clear before using. You may also experience low water pressure which will return to normal once the flushing is completed.
